I was not clear on what I meant by tracker. I was referring to the activity trackers that estimate how many calories your burn, such as the apple watch. Counting calories by weighing your food is the best route for an accurate assessment of intake. Minimizing processed foods is a great strategy as they hinder satiety signals, making it easy to over eat.
