I misunderstood. I would agree to an extent. Individuals with a past medical history (personal or family) of heart disease may not process fats as well. They may adapt overtime but we lack the research to know for certain.
The challenging part about universal dietary recommendations is we lack good evidence. Most nutrition research is heavily biased, contains conflicts of interest, and are longitudinal correlational studies that do not allow for conclusions to be drawn.
Again, I appreciate your perspective and I myself have had success with a low-carb diet. I will remain hesitant to declare a specific diet can be right for anyone (with rare exceptions).
