I can appreciate that. In today's healthcare system, physicians (epsecially GPs) are swamped with high caseloads, heavy administrative burdens, and poor reimbursement. It's not a good situation. The issue I have is when there is a lack of respect for a patient's time.

It sounds like you have a great GP who takes care of his patients. Not using a cancellation fee is rare in my experience. I don't mind waiting if the reasons are just. It's a challenging profession and I appreciate the time and effort it takes to become a physician.
